About the role

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Field Technician to join our team and help modernize public transportation with cutting-edge telematics solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining CADAVL telematics hardware in buses and other public transport vehicles. If you enjoy working in dynamic environments and solving technical challenges, this role is for you!
This position is based at our office in Atibaia, São Paulo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure telematics hardware (CADAVL) in buses and other public transport vehicles.
• Perform wiring, mounting, and integration of devices such as GPS units, communication modules, and onboard computers.
• Conduct functional tests and diagnostics to ensure proper system operation.
•  Document installation procedures, configurations, and any issues encountered.
• Provide technical support during and after installation, including troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Communicate effectively with clients and operators during on-site work.
• Coordinate with project managers, software teams, and clients to ensure smooth deployment.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with vehicle and electrical standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical degree, certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, or related field.
•  Proven experience in field installations, preferably in automotive or telematics systems.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and CAN bus communication.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in hardware installation.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned regions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in small teams.
• Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written) 
• Resides in the metropolitan area of São Paulo.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with telematics systems such as GPS tracking or CADAVL.
• Knowledge of networking or communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, LTE).
• Basic understanding of software integration or diagnostic tools.
